Translation Process

  • Assignment of a Project Manager: the person who is in charge of your translation project and with whom you will be in contact during the entire process.
  • Coordination of delivery times and forms: schedule is established according to your needs and the type of content.
  • Processing of text: according to the format in which the client submits to the source content, it may be necessary to use text recognition software or transcription or to convert the content to another format in order to insert the translation.
  • Creation of a glossary and style guide: these are essential tools for maintaining content consistency. This material will be updated from one project to the next and will be exclusively used for your texts.
  • Translation: CAT tools, i.e. for computer-assisted translation, are used. Texts are translated with a program that processes and organizes the content and allows the use of translation memories and glossaries during the process. Translation memories are files that contain the source text and its translation. They make it possible to save the work done to detect coincidences during the process or in subsequent projects.
  • Review: performed by another professional with the same specialization.
  • Quality control: another linguist controls the final text and uses programs specifically developed to verify that the reference material has been used appropriately.
  • Desktop Publishing: if the content requires the use of design programs, the translation is sent to our Desktop Publishing (DTP) team.
  • Post-Desktop Publishing Review: once the material is ready for delivery, a final review is performed.
  • Delivery to the client: on the agreed date and time.en la fecha y el horario pactados.
  • Client response: once the translation is received, clients can send their comments or indicate changes they wish to make according to their linguistic preferences. The Project Manager and team will evaluate the possible implementation of those changes with the client.
  • Final delivery: the translation is updated as agreed with the client and the final content is delivered.
